The site is operated by Young Indian Revolution Pvt. Ltd.. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the company, and “you” means the adult using the site or placing an order. For questions or complaints, email support@ekdantbooks.com.

The store and checkout are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Our books are designed for children aged 2 to 6; purchases should be made by a parent, guardian, school or other adult.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Give us accurate registration and delivery details — we are not liable for a delivery that fails because the address or phone number you supplied was wrong. Tell us at support@ekdantbooks.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

• •All prices and checkout totals are displayed in Indian Rupees. Any applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown at checkout.
• •Illustrations, cover art and colours are shown as accurately as we can, but printing and screen differences mean the book you receive may vary slightly in shade or trim.
• •Age recommendations are guidance, not a guarantee of what will suit a particular child.
• •Stock is subject to availability.

We may update prices, offers and availability. The checkout total shown before payment is the amount you authorize. If a clear listing or pricing error affects an order, we will contact you and provide a full refund if the order is cancelled.

Placing an order submits your purchase request. We will send confirmation and order updates to the contact details you provide; an order confirmation or payment receipt alone may not mean the parcel has shipped. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — where stock has run out, the price or listing was wrong, we cannot deliver to your PIN code, or we reasonably suspect fraud.

Payments are processed by PayU. Payment is completed on PayU's secure payment flow; we receive the payment result and references needed to process your order. Orders are fulfilled after payment is confirmed. If payment is debited but the order is not confirmed, contact support@ekdantbooks.com with your order or transaction reference so we can investigate.

We ship across India through third-party couriers. Dispatch and delivery timelines shown on the site are estimates and can be affected by courier operations and other circumstances outside our control. Please provide a complete address and reachable phone number. If tracking shows a problem, contact us and we will help follow up with the courier.

We do not offer change-of-mind returns, exchanges, or replacements for correctly supplied books. There is no general seven-day or no-questions-asked return offer.

• •You may request cancellation before dispatch by emailing us with your order number. If payment was collected and the order is cancelled, any refund due will be processed.
• •If your book arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, email support@ekdantbooks.com with your order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the problem and the product or packaging. Please also attach an unboxing or other video if available. We may request other reasonable supporting evidence to verify the issue, but not having a video alone does not remove your rights under applicable consumer law.
• •For eligible issues arising from our supply or fulfilment, we will explain whether the item must be collected or returned, and will bear return shipping costs where required by law.
• •Where a refund is owed, it will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Your bank or payment provider may determine when the credit appears.

Nothing here restricts your rights or remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or other applicable law.

The Ekdant name and logo, illustrations, characters, page layouts, text, books and website design belong to the company or its licensors. Buying a printed book gives you that copy for personal or classroom use; it does not transfer ownership of copyright or other intellectual property. Ask us before reproducing or distributing our content beyond what applicable law permits.

You agree not to:

• •Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to place fraudulent orders.
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users' accounts, or our data.
• •Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or interfere with its normal operation.
• •Post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringes anyone's rights.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

We work to keep product information, prices and the store accurate and available, but errors or interruptions can occur. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled under Indian law, subject to the consumer rights and complaint forums available under applicable law.

For an order or service complaint, email support@ekdantbooks.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month, as provided by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
